Note: every exchange server on the network must have the same ‘Organisation’ naming convention

1. set up zone for each domain (integrated) i.e. eu.com
2. create new host (leave name blank) – create associated pointer (PTR) record
3. new alias

-         browse to eu.com (select server name)

-         alias name = the name of the server

1. right click daffy.com, properties
2. trusts
3. add eu (drop the post-fix .com) passwords must e common to all)

2. Setup internet information service with a new website or virtual directory (IIS)

3. Modify the config.asp file or settings.asp file to link the IIS & SQL servers together.

4. Create databases within SQL so that they can be accessed from the configuration file. You need to use the identical information found in the Config.asp or settings.asp files. Also need to create a user and give them permission to accesss the database.

5. Configure your new forum or help desk system through the Browser.

12. Check the permit access to the forum data base
